Itinerary At Glance:

Day 01:- Indore arrival and Indore to Ujjain (60kms/2hrs)
Upon your arrival at Indore Airport or Railway Station, our representative will be waiting outside the exit gate to welcome you. From there, you'll travel onward to Ujjain, one of India's most sacred cities, nestled along the banks of the holy Shipra River. This ancient city holds great significance as the home of the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the twelve revered Jyotirlinga shrines devoted to Lord Shiva, and it also plays host to the magnificent Simhastha Kumbh Mela once every twelve years. On reaching Ujjain, check into your hotel and unwind at your leisure. Overnight stay in Ujjain.

Day 02:- Morning temple darshan - Ujjain-Omkareshwar (140kms/3.5hrs) and Omkareshwar to Indore (80kms/2hrs)
Begin the day with an early morning darshan at the revered Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of India's twelve Jyotirlingas sacred shrines believed to house self-manifested (swayambhu) forms of Lord Shiva, making them among the most venerated sites dedicated to the deity. After the darshan, return to your hotel for breakfast and check-out. From there, proceed to Omkareshwar, home to another of the twelve Jyotirlingas. This sacred site sits on Mandhata Island, whose shape resembles the Hindu "Om" symbol, located where the Narmada and Kaveri rivers meet in the Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. The island holds two significant temples the Omkareshwar Temple and the Amareshwar Temple. Following darshan, drive onward to Indore. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, with the remainder of the day left free for leisure. Overnight stay in Indore.

Day 03:- Indore to Mandu (100kms/2.5hrs)| Mandu local and Mandu- Maheshwar (40kms/2.5hrs)
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, check out and set off on a full-day excursion to Mandu, one of Madhya Pradesh's most celebrated tourist destinations. This ancient fortified city is a haven for history buffs and architecture enthusiasts alike, enclosed by massive stone ramparts and grand gateways (darwazas) built in the distinctive Afghan architectural style. Upon arrival, explore Mandu's key landmarks, including Roopmati Pavilion, Hoshang's Tomb, Hindola Mahal, Jahaz Mahal (the Ship Palace), and Ashrafi Mahal. Following the sightseeing tour, head to Maheshwar, a charming riverside town on the banks of the Narmada, celebrated for its spiritual significance, cultural heritage, and time-honored craftsmanship. Check into your hotel upon arrival. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Narmada Maa Aarti at Ahilyabai Ghat. Overnight stay in Maheshwar.

Day 04: Maheshwar local and Maheshwar - Indore (85kms/3hrs)
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and spend the morning exploring Maheshwar, historically known as Mahishmati and referenced in both the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. Begin with a visit to Ahilya Fort, now converted into a heritage hotel, originally built by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar. The fort offers breathtaking views over the Narmada River and showcases classic Maratha-style architecture. While here, don't miss the cluster of ancient temples nearby, including Kashi Vishwanath, Ahilyeshwar, and Rajrajeshwar. This is also a great opportunity to browse Maheshwar's famous handwoven silk sarees, prized for their distinctive borders and lightweight texture. Once you've finished sightseeing, head onward to Indore, the commercial and financial hub of Madhya Pradesh. Upon arrival, dive into the city's vibrant food scene with a visit to Sarafa Bazaar, the bustling night food market, followed by Chappan Dukan, a street famous for its 56 varied food stalls. Afterward, check into your hotel for an overnight stay in Indore.

Day 05:- Indore local sightseeing and Indore drop
After breakfast, check out and set off to explore Indore. Begin at Rajwada Palace, an impressive seven-storey heritage structure, followed by a visit to Lal Bagh Palace, once the royal residence of the Holkar dynasty. Continue on to Kanch Mandir, a strikingly unique temple crafted almost entirely from glass, and Bada Ganpati, home to one of the largest Ganesh idols in the region. Indore's landmarks beautifully showcase a fusion of Maratha, Mughal, and British colonial architectural styles. Once the tour concludes, you'll be transferred to the Indore railway station or airport, bringing your trip to a close as you head home with a treasure trove of memories.
