Day 01:- Cochin arrival and Cochin city tour
Cochin is starting point for this tour, On arrival at Cochin Airport, Our friendly representative will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel in comfortable air-conditioned car. On arrival at check-in and relax for few hours,. Afternoon Post Lunch proceed for Place to visit in Cochin tour. start with the Famous Dutch Palace-built by the Portuguese in 1557AD and subsequently renovated by the Dutch after 1663. The murals are perhaps the best in India. Iconic Jewish Synagogue - built in 1568 and the oldest Synagogue in the Commonwealth are at Mattancherry. Late in evening visit St. Francis Church - which was built in 1510 and one of the oldest European church in India, Chinese Fishing Nets- introduced by the court of Kublai Khan can be seen in Fort Cochin. Day 02:- Cochin to Munnar (130 kms / 4 hrs approx)
After yummy breakfast at hotel, drive to Munnar, the famous and most visited hill station of Kerala. Munnar a hill station located 1600mts above sea level. Once it used to be summer resort during British administration time in South India it still holds its colonial charm and is famous for its never ending tea plantations, most of which are privately owned. With its huge estates, sparkling waterfalls, rolling hills, picture postcard hamlets and undulating valleys, Munnar is an ideal destination for nature lovers. On arrival check in your pre-booked hotel, Rest of the Day is free to relaxing and to walk around. Stay overnight in Munnar.
Day 03:- Munnar Local tour
After yummy breakfast at hotel proceed for fun filled Munnar sightseeing tours, start with morning visit the Mattupetty dam, the Kundala Lake and Echo point. Please note boating facilities are available at Kundala Lake and Mattupetty Dam which are optional tour. Later visit a tea factory and tea museum. Afternoon post lunch visit Eravikulam National Park which is also popularly known as Rajamala, the natural habitat of Nilgiri Thar. Nilgiri Thar can be observed very closely here. Day 04:- Munnar to Thekkady (110 kms / 3 – 4 hrs approx)
After breakfast healthy buffet breakfast at hotel, Check out and drive to Thekkady . Thekkady is famous in world for its wildlife sanctuary and it is also known as Periyar. On arrival check in hotel, Later in afternoon post lunch proceed for a boat cruise on Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a many variety of wildlife animals, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc. In evening you may take an Elephant ride at Periyar wildlife and rest of the day is at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel in Thekkady.
Day 05:- Thekkady - Kumarakom ( By road )
This Morning post tempting Breakfast at hotel, drive to next exciting destination Kumarakom which is near Kottayam and stay over night in one of the wonderful backwater resorts. The panoramic view of backwaters here offer an ideal retreat to enjoy nature at its peak. In Kumarakom, famous bird sanctuary located on the banks of the backwaters and renowned for its varied avian population. Several local varieties of birds such as Waterfowls, Cuckoos and Owls, as well as the migratory huge Siberian Cranes can be watched here. You may Day excursion to the bird watching at bird sanctuary and optional boat ride to the nearby village through lagoons. Stay Overnight at Kumarakom.
Day 06:- Kumarakom - Alleppey ( By road )
After tasty breakfast at hotel, check out from the hotel, Drive to Alleppey, later transfer to houseboat which is most awaiting moment of this tour. Around 1300 hrs check in at the Houseboat and post check in formalities have your lunch and start your cruise through the rich and splendid view of backwater. Just relax at the pre-booked deluxe houseboat. It will be a unique and exclusive lifetime experience. Boat will be cruising along side the village sides and paddy fields witnessing the core life of the Kerala villages for the whole day. Deluxe houseboat is fully furnished with bedrooms and a kitchen. Day 07:- Alleppey - Kovalam ( By road )
Morning drive after yummy breakfast at Houseboat, Drive to next beautiful place Kovalam as known as "Paradise of South" and transfer to hotel. Kovalam is an internationally recognised beach of Kerala, with 03 adjacent beaches. Kovalam has been a one of favourite haunt of tourists, especially among Europeans travellers, since the 1930s. A huge rocky promontory on the beach has created a mesmerising Bay of calm waters ideal for bathing in sea. There are several leisure options at this beach which are plenty and diverse - sunbathing, swimming, Catamaran cruising, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programs, etc. Evening enjoy the beach. Night stay in Kovalam.
Day 08:- Kovalam - Trivandrum ( Day excursion )
Morning post mouthwatering breakfast, gear up for Day trip of Trivandrum from Kovalam - Trivandrum is gateway to one of the most beautiful "God's own country Kerala". This is capital city of Kerala which presides over one of the most beautiful states, stretching along the southern coast of the country, with the backwaters of the Arabian sea reaching deep inside into the countryside, Kerala offers a fascinating experience. Afternoon post sightseeing tour of Trivandrum visit Huge ancient temple of Sri Padmanabhaswamy and it is the major attraction in the city of Thiruvananthapuram. Also visit famous Napier Museum which was built in 1880 and it shows a harmonious blending of Kerala, Mughal, Chinese and Italian architectural school of styles. Later visit Sri Chitra Art Gallery which has a good collection Tanjore, Mughal, and Rajput schools of art. Late in end visit The Zoo in Trivandrum which has many shady and delightful walks. Post completion of places to visit in Trivandrum or best itinerary for Trivandrum tour return back to Kovalam hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09:- Kovalam - Trivandrum ( Departure )
This morning post tempting breakfast, pack your bag and baggages with a promise of come back again to the Gods Own Country. Proceed towards Trivandrum Airport/Railway station on time to board your flight for onward journey to home with a lot of sweet memories of your holidays.
