Day 01:- Arrive Delhi and tour of Sacred Gurdwaras of Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport and railway station, meet and greet our friendly representative and transfer to your pre-booked hotel in Delhi in comfortable air-conditioned car. After relaxing for few hours, Post lunch, go for half-day Gurudwara Tour of Delhi starts with visiting BangIa Sahib Gurudwara tour which is a Sikh temple situated in heart of Delhi and it is know for its association with 8th Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan, it is major sightseeing point on delhi sightseeing tour, its is famous for its huge Langar or Free food kitchen in Delhi which feed thousands of people everyday for free. Last stop on today tour is Gurudwara Shri Rakab Ganj Sahib is iconic Gurudwara built in 1783 by Baghel Singh Dhaliwal after Sikh military captured Delhi and he was a Sikh Military leader. Post tour of main gurudwaras of Delhi or Delhi Gurudwara Tour, return back to Delhi, overnight in Delhi.
Day 02:- Delhi to Chandigarh (250kms/5hrs) And Chandigarh to Parivar Vichora to Anandpur Sahib to Chandigarh.
This morning post yummy breakfast at hotel, check out and drive to Chandigarh which is the very first planned modern city of India designed by the renowned French architect Le Corbusier. On arrival check-in hotel and post lunch go for Sikh Pilgrimage tour from Chandigarh start with visiting Parivar Vichora which is 50kms from Chandigarh, Parivar Vichora Gurdwara is place where 10th Guru Gobind SIngh Ji family got separated here, It is situated on the bank of River Sirsa. Next stop is Anandpur Sahib which is a Holy city situated on left bank of the Sutlej river and founded by 9th Guru of Sikh, Guru Teg Bahadur Singh. Guru Teg Bahadur Singh and Guru Govind Singh lived here only, In 1699, It is place where Guru Gobind Singh Ji founded the Khalsa Panth. It also home Kesgarh Sahib Gurdwara which is one of the five important Takhts in Sikhism. later return back to hotel for Overnight stay in Chandigarh.
Day 03:- Chandigarh Sightseeing tour and Chandigarh to Amritsar (250kms/5hrs)
Morning post delicious breakfast go for places to visit in Chandigarh or things to do in Chandigarh, starts with visiting the Museum, Assembly Chamber, Rock Garden, Rose Garden and Sukhna lake . Afternoon post Lunch drive to Amritsar, Located on the north -western border of the India. It is 400 years old city, founded by the 4th guru of the Sikhs, Guru Ramdas, from its inception Amritsar has been the most important seat of the Sikh religion and for its culture. It is famous for Golden Temple, Amritsar means -'Pool of Nectar' name derives from the holy pond around the temple. The land for the pool was gifted by the Mughal King Akbar. Check-in at hotel on arrival. Overnight at hotel in Amritsar.
Day 04:- Amritsar to Tarn Taran to Gobindwal to Hazoor Sahib to Amritsar
This Morning post tasty breakfast go for tour of important Gurudwara tour from Amritsar starts with excursion to Gurudwara Sri Darbar Sahib Tarn Taran Sahib 22kms from Amritsar, It is built in honour of Guru Arjun Dev 5th Guru of Sikh, Sri Darbar Sahib Tarn Taran Sahib this holy Gurudwara have largest Sarovar among all the gurudwaras, Lepers come here from all across India to take din in sarovar here it is believed that water of sarovar help in curing Leprosy. Later proceed to Goindwal Sahib 23 kms from Gurudwara Sri Darbar Sahib, Guru Amardas lived here and Gurudwara built by Guruji still present there, Since there was no place for a Tank or Sarovar here so an underground Baoli or stepwel was constructed near the gurudwara with 84steps. Visit next holy Gurudwara Hazoor Sahib where samadhi of 2nd Sikh Guru, Guru Angad Dev ji, in 1815 was constructed by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Post Lunch return back to Amritsar to visit Golden Temple constructed in the middle of Sarovar by the Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1803, Also known as Darbar Sahib or Har Mandir Sahib, The dome of the temple is covered with an estimate 400kgs of Gold Leaf, also commonly known as The Golden Temple, Next to pool is Akal Takht established by 6th Guur, Guru Hargovind Singhji, It is seat for the supreme head of the Sikhism religious authority. Overnight in Amritsar.
Day 05:- Amritsar to Jallianwala Bagh - Baba Bakala - Waga Border - Amritsar
Morning post tasty breakfast, visit Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, the iconic and heritage site where hundreds of innocent Indian men, women and children were massacred by British General Michael Dyer on April 13,1919. A memorial and garden have been built here as a national monument to remember sacrifice of the people. Later visit Baba Bakala gurudwara, associated with 9th Sikh Guru, Shri Tegh Bahadur, at this gurudwara people thousands of people gathered on every "Amavas". An annual huge fair is held on Raksha Bandhan with about lakhs of people visiting the place. Afternoon Post Lunch drive to Attari Border to witness beating retreat ceremony between India and Pakistan at Atari - Wagha border (One needs to reach there by 1500 hrs). Day 06:- Amritsar to Delhi drop
